Getting married in a beautiful, traditional Church in Gibraltar is very popular for many couples of all ages. Whether it's just the two of you or you're accompanied by an army of wedding guests, a Church wedding is for those wanting to mark the occasion with a little more solemnity and formality as well as tradition. You don't necessarily have to be a practising Christian or Catholic to be married in Church – as long as you have a certain degree of religious belief and respect the traditions of the Church, you can be accepted subject to the Reverend's specific and prior approval.

You would need to request your wish to be married in Church to your wedding co-ordinator who will then send out the requisite forms to be completed along with some direct contact by the Revered who will need to know some further family and personal details. Divorced couples are able to be married in Church in Gibraltar |

Church venue and pew decoration as well as Church organ music are permitted. Photography – both still and video are also permitted but there are limitations on what can and cannot be done and must be requested well in advance. Your wedding co-ordinator will gain all relevant permissions for you as long as you communicate your requests in good time. |

Renewal of vows and blessings for couples who are already married is also very popular and the Reverend is very happy to conduct such ceremonies. A certificate declaring your renewal of vows is issued at the end of the ceremony and you may celebrate your marriage with all the usual style and pomp including music, flowers and photography as you wish. |
